Doctor Mei Fong's Flu Prevention and Cure Tea | 美芳防治流感茶
Made with 11 ingredients, including Chinese licorice, heart leaf, chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, and Korean mint, this brew was created by Dr. Mei Fong Ng, an 82-year-old doctor who is a legend in her hometown of Guangdong, China, thanks to her expertise in both Eastern and Western medicine.
Dr. Mei Fong Ng joined Grand Tea and Imports back in 2018 to expand GTI’s specialization beyond Chinese teas to include herbal medicine and comprehensive holistic care to Chinese-speaking patients in the way that they are familiar with from home. Her wisdom combined with her kind and sincere care has won over the loyalty of a lifetime of patients, who regularly check in with her to maintain their health.
This herbal tea's complete recipe, along with all its ingredients and their exact amounts, is featured in a digital cookbook compiled by community group Send Chinatown Love (SCL).
