Creek Money (溪錢)
Also known as "Road Monday" (路錢, or luqian), Creek money is essential to ancestral worship. This traditionally long and narrow, ivory-color paper comes with the outline of old Chinese coins cut into each sheet as a sign of auspiciousness. It is used in every occasion from Grave Sweeping to New Years, Hungry Ghost to bi-monthly tributes, because they are known to "buy passage" or "open the road" for our ancestors.
Comes in large or small pack.
