Our narcissus are on the cusp of blooming for Lunar New Year—bringing with it new wealth and a change of season. Though they don’t look like much now, these sprouts will soon be adorned by white and yellow flowers that emit a sweet fragrant scent.

Grown from just a bulb and water, narcissus or 水仙 are popular New Year festival plants because they are the first to blossom from the winter and they represent the popular wish for good fortune to bloom like flowers (花開富貴).
