"Hometown" Taishan Tea Trio: GTI Storytelling and Tasting Set | “家鄉”台山茶組合
Travel to the Grand Tea & Imports family's hometown of Taishan--a place where many Chinese immigrants abroad can still trace their roots. Unknown to many tea enthusiasts, Taishan is also home to a rich tea culture where generations-old cultivation techniques are still honored. We selected some of the most beloved teas that Taishan people in China and abroad continue to enjoy:
Taishan Sijiu (Four Nine) County Black Tea (台山四九紅茶)
Grown in the hillsides of Sijiu, the Taishan Sijiu black tea’s rich fragrance is sweet and floral like the smoothest milk tea that can be found in Hong Kong, while the tea’s lingering fragrance is reminiscent of premium Yunnan Black Tea.
Taishan Wild Grown Cloud & Mist White Tea (台山野生雲霧茶)
Hand picked and sun-dried, the Cloud & Mist tea is an organic tea that carries a uniquely sweet flavor makes it a beloved brew for many. It is also consumed by locals for its herbal benefits.
Taishan Wild Grown White Cloud Tea (台山野生白雲茶)
Taishan Wild Grown White Cloud tea is arguably the most treasured tea in our family's tea shop. Very small batches of the tea are produced each year and White Cloud tea remains relatively unknown in the tea world with production and consumption of the rare tea mostly limited to the Taishanese people.
